Good Practice Case Study - Scottish Funding Council

A case study illustrating the steps taken by the Scottish Funding Council during an appointment round in 2025.  In particular, the panel conducted a thoughtful lessons learned process following a failed first attempt at finding a new chair.  By refining candidate information, strengthening outreach and aligning assessment methods with sector reform, the panel secured a successful appointment.
